At Southey Green, we are dedicated to offering the highest quality education to as many children in our local community as possible. As the number of children needing specialist support continues to grow, we have developed the The Hub—a calm, multisensory environment designed specifically for pupils with significant needs in speech, language and communication. Children attend the Hub for part of their time in school, while also spending time learning within the main school, helping them stay connected to their peers and wider school life. We believe strongly that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in their local school, surrounded by familiar faces and a supportive community. 

Our vision is to provide rich, enjoyable learning experiences that help children with special educational needs to thrive. We aim for every child to reach their full potential and grow into a confident communicator, ready for the next stage of their educational journey. 

In the Hub, we develop our school values every day:
