Steps to follow if you have any concerns
We want to work with all our families to ensure your children are happy and well educated. If you have any concerns at all please follow the steps below.
Class teacher – this person is generally the person in school who knows the most about your child. They are generally available first thing in the morning and after school at night. If it seems a little busy at these times please don’t hesitate to ring the school office and they will endeavour to return your call and set up a meeting.
Assistant Headteacher – if you feel that you still have a concern having spoken with your child’s class teacher then please do not hesitate to contact one of our Assistant Headteachers – Rachael Shotton (Year 6 and curriculum), Keeley West (Year 5), Sara Waterson (Year 3&4), Helene Vickerman (Year 1&2) Kathryn Holland (EYFS). You can also email the year group enquiries email and the lead will respond this way.
OR – If it is a safeguarding, behaviour and attendance or SEND concern
Linda Shepherd is our designated safeguarding lead and Jonny Marples is the SENCO for years 4,5 and 6, Jessica Green for years 2 and 3, Rachael Hall for Reception and Year 1 and Kerry Hughes for Nursery. Scott Clarke is available to speak to with regards to attendance and behaviour if you have a concern within one of these areas.
If you have a concern where a member of staff from the SENCO or Safeguarding team have been involved please do not hesitate to call and make an appointment to see Sally Leech, Assistant Headteacher for our pastoral team.

The steps outlined above will address your concerns in a timely manner, with any concerns being dealt with by the right people. Once again, can I reinforce the fact that we want to work in partnership with all parents and your children are at the centre of everything we do.
