I Love Science Day
Wow! Southey Green had an excellent science day around the theme of observations. Every year group carried out investigations and used their senses to observe.
Throughout the school year groups observed ice, how colour travels and mixes to make different colours, how sweets are affected in different liquids, looked closely inside a daffodil by dissecting it and observing them growing in different conditions, conducted experiments with carbonated water and learned how far a sneeze travels and the importance of using a tissue.
I Love Science Day was a huge success and we know the observing is more than just looking. Look at some of our interesting investigations. Can see what we found out?
