Take a look at our curriculum maps for our science, history and geography units of work. 

Each year group will have a curriculum map for each half term in order to share what we intend to teach our children. These curriculum maps are not always constrained to just half a term and if a teacher feels the children will benefit from longer on a particular skill then we will continue with that learning.

Each curriculum map consists of: 

• Vocabulary - This is a list of vocabulary that we will teach the children and use on a daily basis. The vocabulary is accompanied with Communication in Print Images to make it more accessible to all children.
• Home Learning Menu - We provide a home learning menu for our children to choose from. This is to encourage and develop talents in all areas of the curriculum. When learning is brought back into school there is an opportunity for children to showcase their work and develop their speaking and listening skills. 
• Knowledge Organiser - This is information about the topic that the children are learning. It will provide them with relevant information and previously taught learning so that they can successfully learn key knowledge and skills.
